New Job but same old snow pictures

Hi family:

How do you like this night picture? The tree branches were just drooping with the weight of the snow and everything was so fresh and clean looking.

Just thought I should write something since it has been so long since updating our blog. I am enjoying my new job with an archaeology company. Very interesting and very laid back. I resigned my previous abusive job and finished it on Friday, Jan. 25. On Sunday, John and I were visiting the Halifax church. At the end of the service, I was visiting with a friend whose parents are going through the same things as my parents. She asked me how my job was going and I told her I resigned. Apparently she was just a-hopping on the way home and told her husband that their prayers were answered. Of course, I knew nothing about any of this. I received a phone call from her husband on Monday am and he indicated that his wife was all excited when she heard that I was looking for another job. He wondered if I was interested and I sent in my resume. He interviewed me on Tuesday and offered me the job. It is such a nice environment. He is the owner/president and senior consultant. There are 3 other full time archaeologists and from about April to November there can be up to 20 or 30 other field workers/crew. Anyway, he changed the title from office assistant to office manager and I will have 3 weeks vacation and the freedom to leave early on Fri or come in late on Mon if John is travelling and I go with him. Such a different atmosphere compared to my previous job. John B. was so supportive when I decided to quit. He keeps saying how much more relaxed I am now with this new job.

This is the picture from my kitchen window. Those are daffodils and a mini rose on the window sill.

I just planted my geranium seeds. The ledge around the family room comes in handy. I miss my grow lights in the laundry room in Belleville. I have to find a place to put some grow lights here - maybe in the laundry room - except that it still is a catch all right now and needs to be decluttered.

Guess what this picture is?

A close up of snow flakes landing on the roof of our car.

I know, get a life. But it was so pretty with the sun shining on it.

Stay tuned for the next blog installment. I will have pictures of my seeds sprouting. :) Love Mom/Grandma

What do you call that crazy white stuff......s-s-snow. How come all of your plants are inside staring out the windows. All of our spring flowers are now in bloom want in the house to get out of the warm, damp weather.

I miss snow... and I don't think it's silly to take pictures of it.
